texture transparency problem
« on: July 31, 2011, 02:56:19 pm »
Hi

I have a texture with transparent areas. Semitransparentparts become opaque in the rendering process.

As the figure

How to make them transparent?

Hi,

There is a alphaTexture option on MaterialTexture & MaterialDiffuseTexture. You must set to true if you want to set the alpha from the texture. Some material miss this option, this will be fixed on the next milestone release.

No, alphaTexture not solve the problem. Fully transparent and opaque areas textures display properly. But where 0 <alpha <1 there is an error when mixing colors. I put green plane behind texture, now see that the colors are wrong.

The problem is in the parameters of the function setBlendFactors
